ROWLAND JOHNSON

Rowland Johnson founded Nettitude in 2003 with a vision of providing high quality Security technology and
consulting services for the Enterprise market. Since inception Rowland has been instrumental in building a
highly effective testing and compliance practice within Nettitude and has been instrumental in helping
Nettitude to become accredited and aligned with PCI DSS (QSA and ASV); ISO 27001 auditors; Investors in People;
and CREST, CLAS plus numerous tier-1 security vendors. Rowland has grown developed an award winning Penetration
Testing team that delivers high quality consultancy services and is at the cutting edge of the security industry.
Rowland is a published author of a number of UK Government Internet papers, and has developed an active role in
supporting Universities teach Information Security to students. Rowland spends his time between the US and EMEA
delivering consulting and speaking engagements for a broad cross section of industry.
After being awarded a scholarship at the University of Birmingham, Rowland graduated with a Masters degree in
Commerce & Information Technology. From there Rowland spent many years as a network security consultant in IBM
EMEA.
Rowland is happily married with three young children, and combines his passion for Information Security with
interests in property investment.
MARTIN WATTS
Director, Nettitude Inc
Martin Watts leads Nettitude’s commercial operations and is primarily responsible for delivering the company’s
overall revenue across all services and solutions.
Martin began his Nettitude career in 2004 with a brief to develop new business opportunities, cultivate
strategic partnerships and transform the company’s marketing initiatives. After five highly successful years
Martin took on his current position of Director in 2011.
Prior to joining Nettitude, Martin performed a strategic sales role for Nortel Networks, where he was a member
of the Vodafone global account team targeting UK, Ireland and Switzerland for wireless networking
opportunities. In 2003 Martin focused on delivering optical networking solutions and services for Hutchinson
Whampoa (3 Mobile) for the launch of 3G services in the UK.
After securing a BSc. Hons degree from Bournemouth University in Management Systems, Martin was recruited on
to the prestigious graduate programme for IBM UK in 1997 which further inspired his interest in
IT/Telecommunications and resulted in his strong consultative selling approach.
Martin is an all-round sportsman, with a passion for rugby and baseball, and his latest sporting achievements
have been fulfilled through the challenge of competing in triathlons.
